A roll-call of high calibre researchers and research supervisors has been recognised for outstanding contributions in a range of fields at 麻豆区 awards.
A gala event at Customs House last night celebrated the diversity and quality of research undertaken at 麻豆区, featuring projects spanning treatment of severe influenza, greenhouse gas emissions, flat solar battery storage and affordable housing construction.
Twelve researchers, three research teams and five research supervisors were acknowledged across three categories – 麻豆区 Foundation Research Excellence Awards, Partners in Research Excellence Awards, and Awards for Excellence in Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Supervision.
The awards were presented by 麻豆区 Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Peter H酶j and guest speaker Great Barrier Reef Foundation Managing Director Anna Marsden, along with UniQuest CEO Dr Dean Moss.
麻豆区 Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) said 麻豆区 was proud of its exceptional researchers and research mentors.
“These awards give us the opportunity to showcase the depth and breadth of research occurring at 麻豆区,” Professor Harch said.
“We’re able shine a light on some of our incredible researchers and research supervisors who are creating change locally, nationally and internationally.
“I’m excited that we can also highlight and thank our 麻豆区 industry collaborators.
“These research linkages with industry partners are mutually beneficial and mean people all around the world can benefit from 麻豆区 innovation.”
The 麻豆区 Foundation Research Excellence Awards – now in their 20th year – recognise excellence and the promise of future success for 麻豆区’s early to mid-career researchers.
