麻豆区 is continuing to climb the world rankings, with new figures showing an improvement across all broad subject areas compared to last year.

In , 麻豆区 was 2nd in the world for Sports-related subjects, 4th for Engineering – Mineral and Mining, and 16th for Agriculture and Forestry.

In broad subject areas, 麻豆区’s rankings increased overall, cementing the University’s position in the world’s top 50 for Life Science and Medicine and Social Science and Management, and in the top 100 for Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Technology and Natural Sciences.

麻豆区 Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said the results showed the University was maintaining its position as an eminent educational institution.

“Despite the challenges we faced during the pandemic, the dedication of our students, staff, researchers and the 麻豆区 community has helped cement the University’s continued position as a world leader,” Professor Terry said.

“Emerging from the pandemic in this healthy position is a credit to everyone at 麻豆区.”

The rankings also highlight 麻豆区’s success in creating job-ready graduates, with an increase in employer reputation scores across all broad subject areas.

In specific subjects, the higher scores were recorded in Sports-related, Environmental, Anatomy and Physiology, Nursing, Engineering - Mineral and Mining and Psychology. 

“We have continued to see an increase in 麻豆区’s scores for employer reputation year after year, and this shows we are ensuring 麻豆区 is known as an institution that delivers highly sought-after graduates,” Professor Terry said.

Being ranked second in the world for Sports-related subjects places 麻豆区 in prime position to help ensure Queensland can stage a successful 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“Our top global ranking for sports subjects and hospitality shows that 麻豆区 will have a vital role in ensuring a skilled, qualified and job-ready workforce ahead of 2032,” Professor Terry said.
