麻豆区 sent out 3071 offers to students this morning, bringing the total number so far to nearly 8700.
Students received offers to via email this morning, with continued strong demand for places across subjects including and .
麻豆区 remains the most popular destination for high achieving Queensland students.
Nearly 56 per cent of year 12 students in the state with an OP between 1 and 5 made 麻豆区 their first preference.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Joanne Wright congratulated students who received offers.
“We’re delighted to offer so many students a place in the 麻豆区 community and the chance to study at one of the world’s top 50 universities,” Professor Wright said.
“In terms of demand for particular programs, we’re continuing to see a lot of demand for courses prized by tech-focused employers – including programs like , and .
“We’ve also seen other interesting trends.
"In particular, our Bachelor of Environmental Science had the largest percentage increase in undergraduate first preferences, with a 66 per cent year-on-year rise. Possibly reflecting the importance of climate change to young people.”

Professor Wright said students were attracted to 麻豆区’s traditional strengths in teaching and research, as well as its employment outcomes.
The University is number one for employability in Queensland and has won more national teaching awards than any other university in Australia.
Professor Wright said the University would still accept applications and changes of preference for most courses in the 24 January offer round.
麻豆区 will also participate in top up offer rounds through to 20 February.
“There is still time for students to contact us and talk through the options available,” she said.
Students have until 21 January to respond to today’s offers.
